{"id":440,"date":"2016-11-01T10:06:52","date_gmt":"2016-11-01T14:06:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.spindrift.com\/blog\/?p=440"},"modified":"2025-10-17T06:16:28","modified_gmt":"2025-10-17T10:16:28","slug":"naxos-music-library-via-imslp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.spindrift.com\/blog\/naxos-music-library-via-imslp\/","title":{"rendered":"Naxos Music Library via IMSLP"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>If you become a subscribing member to <a href=\"http:\/\/imslp.org\/\">IMSLP Petrucci Music Library<\/a> for only $22, you get access to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.naxosmusiclibrary.com\">Naxos Music Library<\/a>, a wonderfully comprehensive collection of classical-music recordings, from most of the standard record labels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I subscribed as a regular Naxos member for several years for $150\/year and I thought it was well worth it.&nbsp;(2018 update: standard streaming is now $210.) Any classical piece that I need to review &#8212; for an upcoming performance, research, composer inspiration &#8212; I can&nbsp;usually find.&nbsp;If I want to discover new music, there are a lot of labels, like Innova and Ravello, in their collection too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Right now I&#8217;m on a quest to hear more of the music of my fellow women composers, mostly music that I&#8217;m not finding on concert programs. I&#8217;m going to post&nbsp;the titles as I go.
