A friend found the call on ComposerSite (<a href=\"http:\/\/composerssite.com\/content\/toy-piano-100-project\">https:\/\/composerssite.com<\/a>) and he thought it would entertain me. It was for newly composed 100-note compositions for toy piano. I had fun improvising a bit, and I wondered how such a simple piece for toy piano might be convincing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I wasn&#8217;t going to create an immersive sound-world with only 100 notes for an instrument without much sustaining power. So I went with shifting harmonies, hence my title &#8220;Shifting Muse&#8221;. I&#8217;ll post the score later, after the recording phase of the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I discovered later that David Bohn has done the Composer&#8217;s Voice 15-Minutes-of-Fame several times.
