You can perform Labyrinth with 6 horns, or a 6-part horn choir.<\/p>\n<p>Note from the composer:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Labyrinth came from an improvisation I created with my horn and my handheld 4-track tape recorder. I improvised a meditation around the drone notes. Later I transcribed it into music notation, but I wasn&#8217;t satisfied with it as a concert piece. it needed more direction and tension, so I added two additional parts, with insidious dissonance, that represent distraction and frustration &#8212; like dead-ends in a labyrinth.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>Listen<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Listen<\/strong> to the premiere of Labyrinth.
